wisdom
for those in power, Bless the USA, a God-Fearing, Christian stronghold,
 and we further pray that you keep our Military
Forces, still steadfastly standing guard in the world, as well as all innocent Civilians in the Middle East, Mercifully Safe within Your Grace
and Love.Some of the Coalition Forces have already paid the
ultimate price to protect our American way of life,
to free the world of tyrants,
and to help ensure the world's future freedom. Dear Heavenly
Father, please enfold these fallen heroes' families in your loving embrace
as they deal with the pain of permanent earthly separation from

Those of you who are loyal readers of Aunty's Journal site know that Aunty despises injustice and inhumane treatment of her fellow beings who are co-existing with Aunty in this particular Reality known as 'Life on Planet Earth'. Lately I've been wondering what had become of Burma's longtime pro-democracy leader, Ang Sang Suu Kyi. The hope for worldwide democracy is kept strong by people such as her. God Bless Her and all other Prisoners of Conscience. Coming soon! A real life "aunty adventure" story! Some time ago I settled out of court in a lawsuit against a billionaire so-called 'entrepreneur slash polo player': Mr. Tom Barac of Los Angeles. Well, as part of the settlement, I agreed not to talk about that case for 'five years' and a related class-action case (instigated by Aunty) involving myself and more than fifty co-plaintiffs who were living in the Colony Surf Hotel at the time. We won that case and it cost Mr. Barac more than US$2.5 Million, boy, was he angry about it too, which was quite pleasing to me, heh heh heh. ANYway, a couple weeks ago, I realized that it is almost six years since the cases were settled; ergo, I can now tell the real story. The fallibility of mankind is all too evident in this story of greed and stupidity, as you will discover if you come back here after July 15th at which time you can 'read all about it'. I will have other rather interesting true stories of the evil that mankind does to mankind, sometime towards the end of July 2003. Stay tuned! Do you ever wonder what your privacy rights at work are? This 211-page pdf file has some answers. It might be worth your while to wade through it. If you are looking for more generic information, try these sites first. Some non-Americans say the USA is a 'warmongering, evil society'. Well, to those people I say, 'oh? then why do so many foreign citizens risk life and limb to come here? Why aren't Americans 'risking life and limb' to migrate to, say, the Ukraine or Russia? You all know why, so I won't bother belaboring the point. America, the greatest country in the world, and I base my opinion on having travelled across more than 30 countries in this world in my adult life. For those who say they 'don't like' America, I'll let this retired marine speak for me. Semper fi! Then I suggest you checkout the new terrorist-era airline pilot attire. I say "it's about time!" Now I don't expect to ever need a new identity through the United States Marshals Service's Witness Security Program, still it might be a good idea to bookmark their site, 'cause one never knows for sure when one may want to 'duck and cover'.

Aunty found a couple of interesting sites with lots of whitepapers on computer monitors — the whys and wherefores of refresh rates, etc. This is important information, particularly if you sit in front of a computer for long hours of the day. If you are in the market for a new monitor, you need to pay attention to the pixel clock (aka video amplifier) of the monitor. I didn't know that until I read the 'refresh rate' whitepaper available on this page...Monitor Direct.
